WHY ARE DEMOCRATS WILLING TO LOSE SEATS IN CONGRESS FOR THE HEALTH CARE REFORM BILL

The Conservative leagues and the Democratic Liberal Left are “in bed together?!” Yep. They are finally in agreement with what will take place and it doesn’t seem to be resonating in the ears of Conservatives correctly. The Conservative Right has a position where the Democrats appear to be willing to commit Hari Kari and lose their seat in an effort to further their agenda of health care reform in a bill the likes of which have never been seen. The Liberal Left are attempting to look arguably golden because they appear to be willing to go to lengths never before seen by any politician to pass a bill which will help the most impoverished masses. A philanthropic hue is a hard front to wage political war against and not look cruel. So what is the reason or reasons?

The Tea Party people have been steadfast against the Left with many good measures taken with pamphlets and rallies all across the country. The radio Right, like Mark Levin, have taken the reins and run with a plethora of information and interviews which bring forth ideas the general public haven’t the time to discern for themselves. I believe the reason(s) for political Hari Kari on the part of the Left is not being discussed at all. Why is that?

The reasons for this are two fold. Firstly, the seat in jeopardy being vacated by the Democrat who votes yes on the controversial Bill or Bills will need to be replaced. The Democrats strategy is to refill the position with another Democrat and the exiting politician will later be appointed to a consultant position for the incoming seat (his or her experience gives cause or legitimacy to the appointment).

The Democrats second reason is intertwined in the illegal immigration crisis. The Left will pass a vote between now and the coming election which will legalize the illegals in the country. This new electorate constituency will vote strictly Left salvaging the seats I discussed above. Also, this base will reelect the President for a second term. This will allow the Left to maintain a stranglehold for four more years.

I hope the Political Right takes seriously the next 9 months of legislation and vividly draw a picture and take action to diminish any possibility of this taking place. The legalization of the illegal populace will change the country into a prosocialistic majority indefinitely. America is following the same path Russia did in pursuing its own path down to destruction. The world never pictured the fall of Communism and the Russian Empire. The world never could have predicted that the West would also fall and all taking place within 20 years. Both superpowers! Let’s stop and focus on not only what is taking place but include what the consequences are for the circumstances taking place acutely. Then the counter measures we take will have some bite.

Back to Our Roots: Burkean Conservatism

Today, I see two main factions warring over the label “conservatism”: the traditionalists and the libertarians. Is there middle ground upon which the two sides can come together? Yes. And I will reason out my thoughts and arguments in two or three posts. For this post, I hearken back to Burkean Conservatism. In doing so, I argue that Edmund Burke and his strand of conservatism is the intellectual and philosophical forefather of post-WWII modern American conservatism. In fact, the roots of the label, “conservative”, or a party of restraint, can be traced directly back to Edmund Burke.

Edmund Burke was an Irishman who rose quickly through the British political ranks. He first cut his teeth in British politics by writing for the Annual Register, an annual review of the political and cultural events of Europe. He eventually became the editor of the Register, which at that time was a highly successful and influential journal. His formal political career began when he was elected to the House of Commons where he quickly became an outspoken critic of Britain’s colonial imprudence in handling the American colonies and taking focused aim at Britain’s taxation of the colonies without proper representation. (Naturally, Edmund Burke and his traditionalist and libertarian philosophies were embraced by our country’s founding fathers, particularly by J.Madison and A.Hamilton, evidenced by their writings in the Federalist Papers.)

But probably most notable was Burke’s deep animus against the French Revolution (see book: Reflections on the French Revolution). Burke visited France in 1773 during which time he witnessed a country hobbling under serious financial problems and brimming with militant atheism. Upon return to Britian, Burke noted in an address to Parliament that “under the systematic attacks of these people, I see some of the props of good government already begin to fail…” (Reflections). Soon thereafter, mob violence in France grew and reached its peak with the mobs storming into Bastille on July 14, 1789. The Jacobins, under the leadership of Robespierre, took control and mandated that all cultural, legal, political, and religious institutions of France, including their figureheads, be immediately eradicated. (Wiki). By this point, Burke was convinced that the French Revolution was nothing like the American Revolution. The French Revolution was being driven by a force of evil.

Burke’s political philosophy was based on the ancient classical and Christian moral natural law. According to Burke, this natural law provided the precepts by which rulers ruled and used their power to protect of life, liberty, and property (a very familiar idea). Burke regarded the protection of private property as essential to the maintenance of freedom in society. He viewed freedom in the marketplace as vital to a fluid and vibrant society, but he also recognized that a legal apparatus that maintained this freedom was equally necessary – you couldn’t have one without the other. (see superb article: Edmund Burke and Adam Smith: Pioneers in the Field of Law and Economics) These views, boiled down, implied that rulers were held accountable to the Christian God and the natural laws, while being held accountable to his subjects through positive law (e.g. constitutional and contract laws), which, of course, derived largely from natural laws. Stated simply, virtue (quality of doing what is right and avoiding what is wrong) and freedom had to work in tandem for maximum prosperity.

Today, we see Burke’s moral values, derived from the religious traditions of Christianity, embodied by our social, legal, religious, and familial institutions (although such institutions are being threatened by the sturm and drang of a growing atheistic movement). Burke favored a strong presumption in favor of the validity of longstanding institutional traditions (Christianity) and hostility to rapid unfettered change. For Burke, conserving these institutions was critical and necessary. Burke also recognized that men were born evil and that the only way man could gain virtue was largely through the religious traditions of Christianity. This appreciation of the Christian tradition coupled with maximum individual freedom (a la small government, fiscal restraint, and other contemporary libertarian positions) is essentially Burkean conservatism.

This is core idea that the Republican Party must once again unambiguously embrace. Frank Meyer, a Christian libertarian, has articulated this goal brilliantly calling it “fusionism”, which I will discuss briefly in a subsequent post.

Conservative Organizing But How Much Action..

I went to a meeting of the local 912 aka “The Glen Beck Thing” where I had the dstinguished honor to meet a stand up individual named Allen West. Allen West is African American or Black (for the old school). He is a retired military man who commands attention and carries himself with the kind of pride a Veteran is deserving of. He is running for US Congress and can be reached at his site www.allenwestforcongress.com. His thought is deeply rooted in traditional Conservative values while steering clear of the Right Wing or Left Wing traps other politicians platform.
I spoke with him at length after he addressed the crowd. His speech was profound yet easily understood. The receptive crowd anxiously awaited the Q & A session but was short due to time constraints. Sitting in the crowd, I started to ponder ideas about what all of these notable groups spurred on by FOX News and Right Wing radio have actually done besides “spread the word.” People have definitely been motivated to organize and promote the message of the American Ideal. The American Spirit is roaring back and I thank G-D it is.
The first step has been taken to organize and start to answer the garbage the Left Wing Media perpetuates. The cheerleading of the Left politicians is a daily tripe. The Left has addressed one issue at a time and takes the issue all the way to the end as quickly and expeditiously as possible. For instance, Sheik Obama insisted the Stimulus Bill be passed in about 20 hours. He didn’t release anything until the last minute but spoke of its urgency relentlessly. Then, putting the pressure on the Right that if it didn’t pass immediately, any consequences from the delay of its passage would clearly lay the odus on the Right. And, it passed!
That type of determination and its implementation made it possible. Now, learning from this becomes the key to the Right gaining ground. The work of getting the word out should be done by some while simultaneously others should be implementing the measure. For example, let’s take gun control. My friend Texas Fred is a gun advocate who has a website that is extremely rich in content on all Conservative values. His 2nd Amendment feelings are bordering a religious pilgrimage. He is a person I personally look up to and find him to be something of a role model. The gun rights supporters are doing a great job explaining why the Amendment needs to be upheld. What could be the step to take this to the next level? What could be a obstacle both in red tape and in its sheer size? The organized groups of 912, Act for America, Tea Party, Grassroots, I Stand With Israel, and all the others (sorry for not listing everyone) should have conferences together to increase the roster of each group. But, for 2nd Amendment groups, having the NRA provide information at each local meeting and helping people register to get a gun license should be the obstacle I am talking about. By licensing people en mass would create a powerful voice. Local gun shops could distribute literature about the meetings. Therefore, new potential members would hear the Conservative message.
This is only the first step. See Part II

SHEIK OBAMA ALLOCATES MONEY FOR HAMAS TO START TERRORIST CELLS INSIDE THE UNITED STATES

The Jews have done it again! Yep, congratulations! The Sheik Obama has allocated at least $20 million dollars towards resettling Palestinians (particularly Hamas) in the US with TAX PAYER MONEY! Wow, that will stimulate jobs galore. How? Security industry has just been given the proverbial shot in the arm with this concern. The President wanted to rush (no, not Limbaugh) the darn bill through in a covert cover up scam where money will be given to get this going. Brilliantly pointed out by pajamas media, the Bill was rushed because the Israeli election became the catalyst for this. If Netanyahu wins aka the Right Wing Party, then the money will go for “needs of Palestinian refugees and conflict victims in Gaza.”

This is an excerpt from the article and the entire article is found here Pajamas Media

2) Israel. If Netanyahu is elected in Israel, and if the Obama team feels that the key to historic “progress” in the Middle East
lies in rehabilitating Hamas, or in forcing 99.9% withdrawal from the West, or hinges on normalization with Iran, then
look for a fundamental recalibration of our relationship with Israel, as we lock horns with our traditional ally. I’ll leave it
at that. (Note well: one of Obama’s first acts was to allot $20 million for help in settling refugees from Gaza, apparently
(?) in the United States. That seems to be unwise, especially given the Palestinian clapping to news of 9/11 on the West
Bank. E.g.,
This passage is from both the article and the exact verbiage used in the bill:

By the authority vested in me by the Constitution and the laws of the United States, including section 2(c)(1) of the Migration and Refugee Assistance Act of 1962 (the “Act”), as amended (22 U.S.C. 2601), I hereby determine, pursuant to section 2 (c) (1) of the Act, that it is important to the national interest to furnish assistance under the Act in an amount not to exceed $20.3 million from the United States Emergency Refugee and Migration Assistance Fund for the purpose of meeting unexpected and urgent refugee and migration needs, including by contributions to international, governmental, and nongovernmental organizations and payment of administrative expenses of Bureau of Population, Refugees, and Migration of the Department of State, related to humanitarian needs of Palestinian refugees and conflict victims in Gaza.

I blame the Republicans for this garbage. Bush made national security the primary issue and here the issue is not only compromised but officially dead. Stop the insanity. This issue alone could have been used to crush the administration. There is no compromise with the Left. All the stupid Republicans have to do is take their time reviewing the document now and come Monday tear it to shreds. Dont’ let it go!! Push forward with criticizing the pork out of it. Go on all the traditional media outlets that are religious zealots of the Sheik and bring up the issues. It would be monumental in its damage on every level from lying, rushing, secrecy, the edxtent of the pork and on and on. Shmuck Shumer,( And I mean SHMUCK!), had the gaul (THE GAUL) to say the taxpayer doesn’t want to know or care what the earmark pork is…!!%#@
Now let me see…I know what pork is and I am kosher so I don’t like it. I know what earmarks are and I dont like them. I know what an ear is and I can’t believe what I am hearing. Finally, I know a pig ear is something my dog chews on and she could chew on this bill if they would let her.
The Republicans better do something Monday. Otherwise, they are just as responsible for the bill. The three irresponsible Republicans that agreed to go along with the bill should be black listed immediately. Next time up, not supported by the party for reelection. The opportunity to allow the dems to take full responsibilty for this trash was diminished and allowed Dems to say it bipartisan. Unify and destroy. Divided voting compromises your position and your already in a minority situation. Letting this go and not pressing the matter is a mistake. Just because it passed doesn’t mean public outcry can’t change matters.
Jewish organizations are fair game for criticism. I find the stereotypical Liberal Jew is a supporter of this measure regardless of the consequences. They feel the Dems would never steer them wrong. Also, they would buy into any argument in support of it. They have a record of bending over backwards to appease those that hate them in a gesture to prove how understanding they are to others. Stupid? Extremely. They bought the ingenious argument that Barack Obama (aka the Sheik) is similar to Ba-ruch. Ba-ruch is the word in HEBREW for blessed. Barack is ARABIC for the same. But the Jews bought the point. Sheik Obama is the antithesis of everything Jews should hold dear. I am ashamed of these Jews. I am NOT a Jew for Jesus. I DO support the Christian groups and organizations because they are good people with beliefs that are rooted in our common Old Testament. Common ground is not hard to find. I belonged to an Orthodox synagogue. I find Orthodox Jews have common views with Christians and secular Jews baffling.
I know I have been an advocate for Act for America. Also, I have written several times about them. They deserve more praise then I have done, and for that I am sorry. They pressed the matter already to the Sheik Obama administration. They had signatures totaling at about 9000 in opposition to the possible misuse of funds to Hama immigration. I only hope my darling, Bridget Gabriel gets of FOX and educates the public. If Hamas is allowed here, G-d help us all.

This site’s author is quite an accomplished writer. She writes for Texas Magazine, Newsbusters, and the Houston Chronicle. Also, she writes about subject matter with a Conservative spirit in a wide variety of subjects. Her honest family values and common sense mentality appear to be rooted in life experience. She describes herself as formally Democrat but progressed to Republican. She has been actively blogging at http://rightwingsparkle.blogspot.com since 2004. Worth more than a visit, I recommend her site for a regularly scheduled look.

It appears the truth hurts. Painful in fact. At least to the poor pathetic individual who decided to hack my friends at velvethammer. Well, putting the hammer down on those individuals appears to be how ‘hammer deals with it. The articles on the site are everything I want to post about but I just can’t compete with the likes of velvethammer. Thor, the Thunder G-d carries a big hammer but this …..after reading this site, you’ll be singing,”If I had a hammer, I’d hammer in….”

OBAMA INAUGURATION: I WILL SAY MY FULL NAME (HUSSEIN!) TO IMPROVE ISLAMIC WORLD OPINION OF US.

Filed under: conservative,Hussein,inauguration,Jews,liberal jewish,obama,President — grappledoctor @ 4:57 pm

I heard that Obama intends to state his full name when he accepts the Presidential chair. He is insistent on pronouncing his middle name in a gesture to improve the outlook with Islamic nations. Well, who gives a shit what they think? Is the Christian view going to be insulted if he uses his Muslim name? This is a Judeo-Christian country. I remember the Democratic Jews bolstering Obama’s image by spreading the gossip on his FIRST name. They said his name was Barack, which sounds just like Baruch. And Baruch means blessed in Hebrew. Give me a freaking break. Jews lying to other Jews!! These deceptive people should be lawyers. They maliciously left out the fact that Barack is Arabic for blessed! Some Jews voted for Hitler. It is not so far fetched that they would have voted Arafat in as Prime Minister of Israel if they thought he was in the Labor Party (the Democratic Party equivalent in Israel). The Obama machine duped everyone into believing he will support Israel. NOT A CHANCE IN HELL! He will bring about the demise of Israel. And the Jews will once again be responsible for their own destruction. As a Jew, I am annoyed at the self-righteous attitude of the Liberal Jew. He will justify his stand even if it is self defeating. Never willing to listen to any other view.
My articles on Obama’s political stand towards Israel and how he intends to deal with the Mid East Peace Process are about as thorough and accurate as any expert could possibly imagine. I hope readers look through the articles we published and the future articles. When this Presaidency starts, I will post nearly daily on how he does. So far he supports Israel’s response, supports tax cuts, and is considering raising taxes 10 cents on gasoline. So far he sounds more Republican. Now if he could just stop thinking about taxes….

APRPEH YOU ARE AWESOME!! NEW LINK !! NEW LINK !!!!

I am a Jew who has been floating from Conservative to Reform throughout my childhood. I have always been interested in the history of Jews. As I got older, high school brought me an education of several kinds. I was the only Jewish student in several grade school years. High school brought questions from myself and others I was hard pressed for answers. Proud but naive, I was motivated to a point to educate myself. Eventually, I made my way to Israel, a place I never thought I would visit. I never lusted to stand on its ground. Today, I am a regular visitor! I found Orthodoxy to be more intriguing and Reform more pathetic. I am slowly learning who I am. I am aware that every Jew has a time and place to live in history. My time will have the challenges that every generation has had: hate, prejudice, terrorism, assimilation….I find the US has some of the best people in the world. Where else in the world can a Korean (who blogs with me) and a Jew work together for the common good of all the people hear and (thanks to the ‘net) the world. This site has tons of information. Maybe too much to absorb, too busy a site being my only complaint. I think this blogger has given me political reinforcement. And Jewish reinforcement. I intend to explore more Korean sites in an attempt to find more Korean conservatives for additional dialogue. In the meantime, if your not Jewish, look at this site. I am not preaching the Jewish material, just the political. I hope everyone who is interested in exchanging links contacts me!! I am always interested in helping spread the gospel of intelligent thought.
